With the highlight topic „Integrated Industry – Discover Solutions“, the Hannover Industry Fair took place this year from 24.-27th April. Never before were so many concrete use cases of the production digitisation exhibited on a fair so far. “This is the breakthrough of Industry 4.0”, said Dr Jochen Köckler, manager at the Deutsche Messe AG.
CREMA was present at the Hannover industrial fair this year within the framework of a workshop held at a conference room located in the centre of the Hannover Fair. The workshop was organized by the Resilient Production Networks Cluster which is composed of four H2020 EU projects CREMA, FLEXINET, MANSYS and ROBUST planet.
The Cluster targets following common objectives for the four projects
Define synergies and common vision
Promote business competitiveness
Promote competitiveness of EU markets and industry
Enhance ROI by ensuring utilisation of assets (both physical and intellectual)
Increase and stabilise employment in the EU
The workshop was attended by almost thirty participants from consortium representatives and fair visitors and succeeded in establishing connections with several automation providers. It was also a good opportunity for consortium members from the different projects to establish cooperation plans and promote their added value to the industrial market.
