Presentations of CREMA at CPS Week 2016 in Vienna and I-ESA 2016 in Guimarães
The general scenario of cloud manufacturing and insights into the functionalities of CREMA were presented at the International Workshop on Cyber-Physical Production Systems (http://www.infosys.tuwien.ac.at/cpps/) in Vienna, and at the Workshop on Resilient Production Networks (http://i-esa.org) in Guimarães.
At CPS Week 2016, Olena Skarlat (TU Vienna) gave a talk on the topic "Towards a Methodology and Instrumentation Toolset for Cloud Manufacturing". In her talk, Olena formulated the main research questions that are solved within CREMA. To answer those research questions, the methodologies and instrumentation tools needed to achieve cloud manufacturing were discussed. At I-ESA 2016, Philipp Waibel (TU Vienna) discussed the CREMA framework in his talk “Bringing Cloud-based Rapid Elastic Manufacturing to Reality with CREMA”. Philipp presented a detailed overview on the Cloud Manufacturing Virtualization & Interoperability and the Cloud Manufacturing Process and Optimization work packages of CREMA.
