Paper presented at the 7th International Workshop on Enterprise Modeling and Information Systems Architectures
Research accomplished within CREMA has led to the acceptance of a paper that was presented at the 7th International Workshop on Enterprise Modeling and Information Systems Architectures in September 2016. In the paper “Elastic Process Optimization and Scheduling in the Cloud”, the authors from TU Wien present their current research results in the field of elastic Business Process Management Systems (eBPMS). The authors combine traditional BPMSs with cloud computing resources for the enactment of business processes. Subsequently, open research questions are presented and discussed. These research results emerged from the research and implementation work for the CREMA Cloud Process and Messaging Runtime Environment.
